Payment Safety

Steps for checking recipients, preserving transaction references, and protecting payment credentials.

Confirm who receives the payment

Before sending money, check the recipient name, payment address, purpose, amount, and terms inside the verified product flow. Do not substitute details supplied in an unsolicited call or private message. A familiar logo or support avatar is not enough to prove identity.

Keep secret credentials private

No support agent needs your UPI PIN, card PIN, password, authentication code, screen-sharing access, or remote-control access to locate a transaction. Enter a payment PIN only in the payment application you intentionally opened and only after reviewing the transaction.

Preserve useful records

Keep the UTR or transaction reference, recipient, amount, status, and relevant screenshots. These records can help the provider or payment service trace a problem. Redact secret data before sharing a screenshot.

Reject release-payment demands

Do not send an additional payment merely because someone claims it will release a withdrawal, remove a freeze, verify an account, or recover a loss. Stop, preserve the message, and contact support through a channel you independently verified. Payment terms and processing times can vary; they should never be presented as guaranteed.
